(January 10, 2016) Pfizer Hong Kong is pleased to announce the Company has won the 6th Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Award - Gold Award in the Enterprise Category. The Company is honored to receive the prestigious accolade for the first time, in recognition of its performance and philosophy in leading corporate social responsibility initiatives, and dedication in addressing social needs through long-term commitment and leveraging the Company’s strengths and expertise.

Upholding Pfizer’s commitment of ‘Working together for a healthier world’, Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the top priorities of Pfizer Hong Kong. Pfizer has always recognized their responsibility towards the communities in which they operate, the customers they serve, their employees as well as the environment.

The Hong Kong Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Award Scheme is co-organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education. Participants have to undergo rounds of selection procedures, presentations and panel interviews. The scheme aims to showcase best practices in corporate social responsibility for participants to learn from each other, and encourages more corporations to integrate Corporate Citizenship into corporate governance.
