Guided by this principle, we pledge to promote physical and mental wellbeing through our 輝瑞「168 ‧ 家 ‧ 健康」campaign, which reflects our aspiration to work hand in hand with every family for a healthier world.

We are pleased to announce that Pfizer Hong Kong has been awarded the Innovative Improvement Award, Grand Award and Best Performance Award of the 2019 Joyful@Healthy Workplace awards. Jointly launched by the Department of Health and Occupational Safety and Health Council in 2016, the Joyful@Healthy Workplace award is one of the major programmes under the Joyful@HK Campaign to further promote wholesomeness focusing on healthy eating, physical activity and mental well-being. The awards recognize companies for their holistic effort in implementing health initiatives. 

Pfizer Hong Kong is committed to creating a safe, healthy, and happy working environment for our staff. This is done first and foremost by ensuring comfortable working conditions. Initiatives include supplying high quality office equipment such as ergonomic office chairs and adjustable footrests, and regularly promoting ‘healthy-living’ through the arrangement of various classes and activities such as dragon-boat rowing, team sports, yoga and acupressure massage. The health center in the office also offers routine medical check-ups to our colleagues and families.

We also place great importance on understanding the role of mental well-being and happiness. We value work-life balance and encourage colleagues to participate in our ‘Family Club’ events with their loved ones. The various events such as a healthy mooncake workshop, hiking day and camping in Cheung Chau have helped our employees create precious memories through quality bonding time not only with their family members, but also with each other. In order to raise awareness of occupational mental health, we have also hosted a series of talks on the subject in collaboration with other companies.
