Pfizer Global Health Fellow

The goal of the Global Health Fellow is to connect Pfizer colleagues with programmes to improve health in the developing world. Pfizer colleagues commit to up to 6-month assignments working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and multi-lateral organizations (MLOs) addressing HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and other devastating diseases in developing countries.

To live out our community core value, our Senior Training Manager, Ms Jeannie Liu went to Wuhan, China, to assist Project Hope in Wuhan in providing training to AIDS patients as well as doctors. Jeannie has been very active in community projects as well as patient group activities in Hong Kong. With her past experiences, Jeannie, as a Global Health Fellow, contributed her training expertise and event organization skills to assist the organization’s fund-raising proposal, and production of collateral and external communication.
