Pfizer Caring Hands

Pfizer Hong Kong established a “Pfizer Caring Hands” employee volunteer team. Pfizer Caring Hands was designed to facilitate colleagues in organizing community projects. Programmes include health education within elderly homes, drug abuse prevention campaigns for teens, employment training for single parents, hospital visits, environmental protection, and caring for the disabled and the under-privileged. Family members of the colleagues are also encouraged to participate in these community activities. Pfizer recognizes and encourages colleagues to contribute to the community by offering internal awards. Every year, two colleagues who contribute most in terms of hours of service are awarded as Community Ambassadors.

	Pfizer Hong Kong was awarded as a Caring Company since its inception by Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The community team leaders have been very active in reaching out to other companies to share the need and benefits of serving the community with the aim to encourage more corporations to set up community teams.
