History of severe cardiac disease, asthma, predisposition to spontaneous hypoglycaemia, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, Prinzmetal's angina, severe peripheral and central circulatory disorders, hypotension, history of atopy or severe anaphylactic reaction to a variety of allergens; patients with known risk factors for macula oedema. May gradually change eye colour. Remove contact lenses before instillation and reinsert after 15 minutes. May cause transient blurring of vision. May mask signs and symptoms of hypoglycaemia. |

Increased iris pigmentation, darkening, thickening and lengthening of eyelashes, ocular irritation, pain and hyperaemia, corneal disorders, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, headache, rash. |

Additive effects with oral calcium-channel blockers, guanethidine or β-blockers, antiarrhythmics, digitalis glycosides or parasympathomimetics. May increase hypoglycaemic effect of antidiabetic agents. |
